On May 23, a traffic accident happened early in the morning on the Middle Ring Viaduct affected the normal operation of almost half of all the areas in Shanghai. STEC, as the “comprehensive service provider for the municipla infrastructure construction and operation”, took the burden to rush to deal with the emergency as soon as possible, based on its own expertise and integrated resources. More than 200 repairing personnel spared no efforts and worked uninterruptedly for 14 days, 332 hours in total, including obstacle clearance, supporting lifting and paving the surface of the bridge, which manifested the sense of responsibility of state-owned enterprise in Shanghai. STEC won the “Fight of Middle Ring Rush Repair” at 8:00 in the evening of June 5, the day before the College Entrance Examination, with the closed section of the main line within the Middle Ring open to traffic, which was praised by Shanghai citizens and mainstream media.
In this incident, STEC has fully shown its rescources of integrated management, superior and first-class professional competence and professional spirit of struggling for success and dedication. Besides, the reparing team of STEC has also been applauded for the professional repair technology, quick reaction capability and high working efficiency.
