Last week, the first-stage project of Huaian Modern Tram invested and constructed by the STEC Shanghai Urban Construction Investment & Development Co., Ltd. was awarded the "Special Award of the State Superior Investment Prize" of the year 2016 to 2017. The speed-up project of Nanchang Chaoyang Bridge and Changsha Wanli Road were awarded "the State Superior Investment Prize" of the year 2016 to 2017.
The State Superior Investment Prize was set up in 2006 by the National Development and Reform Commission of China and the Chinese Investment Association, which is the highest prize of investment in China. It aims to intensify the investment reform and to affirm the dominant role of the enterprise investment. In the meantime it is oriented to structural adjustment, energy conservation and environmental protection, thus to give play to the modeling and leading roles of the state superior project in investment. In the preceding years, the projects awarded the same prize include such super projects such as the Three Gorges Project, the Beijing-Shanghai Express Railway, and Hangzhou Bay Sea-Crossing Bridge. The award this year shows the superiority and advanced level of STEC in its management of infrastructure project investment.
