STEC Project in Singapore Praised again and Won the ninth Singapore National Award

Recently, the "BCA Annual Awards Ceremony" sponsored by Singapore BCA, was held in Resorts World of Sentosa, Singapore. The second phase of the metro line in Singapore, Project C920, which was designed by STEC SUCG International Engineering Co., Ltd., won the highest award of Excellence Award at the awards ceremony for its outstanding performance in the construction process. This is the ninth Singapore National Award won by the project since winning the bid in 2009!

Excellence Award of the Singapore BCA is one of the most important awards in Singapore architecture field, and is the highest award in the BCA Annual Awards Ceremony. The winning project must achieve a super high level in management, technology, innovation, productivity and construction quality. In 2009, STEC SUCG International Engineering Co., Ltd. won the bidding of the second phase of the metro line in Singapore, Project C920. The project contracted for about 1.8 billion yuan, including the construction of 4 tunnels and new Newton station, which was completed in September 2015.

Since beginning, the project won the Singapore Excellence Award issued by Singapore LTA (Land Transport Authority)because of the outstanding performance in the construction process, and was granted the Occupational Safety and Health Pioneer Award four times issued by Singapore MOM (Ministry of Manpower). The Singapore Excellence Award is given once every two years, and only the best project in all projects in Singapore can get it. Besides, relying on the outstanding performance of this project, STEC SUCG International Engineering Co., Ltd. won the highest honor of Singapore contractors, Contractors Challenge Shield Award in 2012, which was the first time that Chinese companies in Singapore had won the honor.
